A new date has been set for Bridgend Council’s Planning Committee to decide on planning applications relating to the Hybont project in Brynmenyn and Bryncethin (pdf).
A site meeting and a committee meeting will now be held on Thursday 20th February 2025.
As last time, a maximum of three objectors will be given 10 minutes each to speak at the meeting, with the applicant given 10 minutes to respond. Local councillors will also be given time to speak separately.
The meeting will discuss both the main planning application and the recently submitted revised application for hazardous materials consent.
The original meeting was postponed in October 2024 after last-minute evidence from the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) which recommended that the original hazardous materials consent should be rejected on safety grounds.
