Bridgend Council has warned of potential disruption as work is set to commence on upgrading traffic lights at one of Bridgend town centre’s busiest junctions.
Work to replace traffic lights at the Coity Road/Tremains Road gyratory is set to start on Monday 22nd July and is expected to last for four weeks.
The new traffic lights will use less energy than the existing lights, which have been in place since the gyratory opened in the mid-1990s.
Temporary traffic lights will be in place during the works – which have been timed during the school summer holiday “to help reduce disruption”.
