A planning application has been submitted to improve facilities for cadets at the Army Reserve Centre in Litchard.
The cadets are currently based in a Portakabin-like building, which would be retained and expanded.
The upgrade will provide new toilets, a new flight simulator room, several new classrooms and a new drill hall.
Kitchen facilities will be refurbished, while fire alarm and heating systems will also be upgraded.
