Bridgend Council is trialling a new passenger information screen at Bridgend Bus Station ahead of a future bid for transport funding.
The current clock and information screen was switched off in 2022. At a recent full council meeting, Cllr. Tim Wood (Ind, Bridgend Central), raised the question as to when and how this would be replaced.
The new display has been installed at Bay 5.
Cabinet Member for Communities, Cllr. John Spanswick (Lab, Brackla West Central) said, “We hope to be able to purchase more displays in the future if we are successful in obtaining a Local Transport Fund grant.
“In the meantime, we would welcome feedback on the new display from passengers via our bus station regulators, who are situated in the Information Office at Bridgend Bus Station.”
