Theatr Bont
The project (Theatr Bont) is run by Shed Theatre (former Bridgend College students, Evan Barker & Iwan Bond) in collaboration with The West House.
“Bringing a Fringe theatre scene that’s missing to this part of the country is something that is vital to us, looking at the thriving London Pub Theatre scene, we hope to encapsulate a sprinkle of that culture in the town which we met, attended Bridgend college and began our journeys together as a company.”
-Theatr Bont
The vision is to create a small, adaptable performing arts hub with a capacity for up to 30 people. There are longer-term ambitions to host annual writing festivals, workshops, audition services, intimate gigs and community/youth projects.
