A petition has been launched at Change.org calling for improvements to the infamous Maesteg Road-Pentre Felin junction in Tondu following yet another accident.

The petition says the junction “has resulted in many dangerous collisions due to lack of adequate box junctions, adequate filter traffic lights and general traffic light programming.”

At the time of posting the petition is close to 500 signatures.

The junction is due to be partly reorganised when Maesteg Road is diverted to the Lidl roundabout to accommodate the 450-home next phase of the Pentre Felin development.
