Back in September 2017, I wrote about proposed cuts to subsidised bus services in Bridgend county (Bus Routes & Public Toilets “Under Review” Again).
Although BCBC’s Cabinet approved a public consultation, everything went quiet, which made me think the idea had been dropped as the budget is usually presented each February – so it wouldn’t have given them much time to do everything.
After four months, BCBC has finally decided to launch a consultation on the bus route cuts, with proposed savings of £188,000. The routes which could have their funding cut and/or be subject to service changes (where applicable) are listed below and haven’t changed from the previous post.
