Bridgend-based Valleys2Coast (V2C) housing association has announced its proposed move to a new headquarters at Wyndham House in Bridgend town centre (pictured above).
Detailed proposals and plans are still in development. As things stand, alongside new office space, V2C intends to provide a cafe-style reception on the ground floor, retail units and 8 one-bedroom apartments as part of a refurbishment of the building.
Early artist impressions show an improved exterior:

V2C is currently headquartered on Tremains Road. They hope to use town centre regeneration and social housing grants to help fund the move.
Wyndham House – built on the site of the former Bridgend Town Hall – currently houses Bridgend Post Office and several office units on the ground floor. Anecdotally, it’s considered a bit of an eyesore, with there being proposals in the past to redevelop the building.
It’s unclear at this early stage what this potential redevelopment means for the future of the post office. Bridgend Council passed a motion in February 2025 opposing the proposed closure of the post office.
